Matt Hans, President

Matt founded MTG after working in the marine engineering field for the past 20 years. MTG was created with the idea of providing high quality technical work, while taking into account the business impacts of these decisions, providing our clients with holistic engineering and professional support.  Matt is a graduate of both the US Merchant Marine Academy and Georgia State University. He holds degrees in both Business (MBA) and Marine Engineering (BS). He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and Project Manager (PMP) and holds a Merchant Mariners Chief Engineers license with the United States Coast Guard. Matt has an extensive background in naval ship design and production, regulatory compliance, P&L, strategic planning, OEM product management, and new/existing business development.
